Will it work with teal dye? I have some No Red and I put it in the bleach but it’s still brassy.

Hair dyeing question:
I want to bleach my hair to get rid of the brassy tones so the teal will be more blue than green. Should I try to get the hair dye off first or just put bleach on it?
